This list has been translated from the German original on Microfilm Reel No. 3 of the St. Petersburg Microfilming Project. These materials were microfilmed during 1995-1996 under a project co-ordinated by Peter Penner of St. Petersburg Christian University. There were four North American partners in the project and copies are available at their locations. These partners are: Mennonite Historical Society of British Columbia, Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies (Fresno), Mennonite Heritage Centre (Winnipeg) and Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies (Winnipeg). The originals are part of the State Archive of Russia held at the St. Petersburg University where they are catalogued as Fond 383, Opis 29, Dielo 183. The materials were also copied by the late Dr. David G. Rempel of California during a research visit. Rempel's notes indicate that this list is taken from a report of the "Russian Consul in Danzig, Trefurt, to the Minister of the Interior, Count Victor Pavlorrob Kochnbey, Minister of the Interior, dated October 4, 1803".

The format of the orginal document has been preserved in this transcription and translation. The spellings have been left as they appear in the document.
